The Streaming Festival 7th Edition

My digital art cityscapes are on display in the 7th Edition of the International Streaming Festival 12/1 – 12/9. The Streaming Festival is an art event for independent artists exhibiting unconventional audio-visual  and 2D art from all over the world. This online exhibit is organized and curated by the isfth foundation in the Hague, the Netherlands. The event takes place once a year.

Chicago, City Of Bridges

In Chicago, many bridges were built along the Calumet River since its development in the 1860s. The Chicago Skyway bridge was built to be a shortcut from State Street in Chicago to the steel mills on the southeast border with Indiana. Transformation is true of this region on a symbolic level, as well as being my artistic media. My photographs use digital art to explore the interplay of representational photography with transformations to display an abstract view.
The vibrant colors in my photos represent the vital role this industrial hub played in developing the Calumet region.  The Calumet harbor continues to be this region’s busiest port.

Previous Streaming Festival Exhibit

I am honored to be a returning artist in the Streaming Festival.  Last year I displayed my cityscapes of the University of Chicago campus, again in the form of digital art.
