 WHEN:  Opening Reception, Friday evening, September 12, 6:30-9 PM

WHAT:  The Oliver Brown Show is our annual members’ exhibit, opening at CornerStone Art Gallery in Whiting, Indiana for a two-month show.  Come for a night of art and conversation courtesy of 119th Street Artists.  Free and open to the public.  The art is on display from 9AM to 5PM weekdays and from 9AM to noon Saturdays

– ENTERTAINMENT:

– Joe Humphrey will grace our exhibit with music on his acoustic guitar.

–  We are also very pleased that the Munster High School Chorale will be singing A Capella, led by Willam G. Woods, at 7 PM.    

– CREATE ART LIVE FROM RECYCLED MATERIALS.  Artists and guests are invited to create art from recycled material in the Mills-Groninger gallery section of CornerStone.  Art created during the reception will remain on display in the gallery.  This event is In coordination with the 9th annual Greening of the Arts Tour.

WHERE:  CornerStone Art Gallery is located in the Centier Bank Building at 1500 119th Street in the Historic Downtown District of Whiting, Indiana. The gallery is in Northwest Indiana, about a 30 minute drive from Chicago.  Enter the gallery via the New York Avenue entrance on the west side of the building.  Gallery hours are: 9 to 5 weekdays and 9 to noon Saturday.  Our website is at
