Virtual First Friday Art Walk
For Artists and Art Fans: Can’t get out to an art show this weekend? You can see engaging art from around the world on G+. Tomorrow is the virtual First Friday Art Walk on G+, which now has over 500,000 international followers. I have been participating in this event for a while now, and really enjoy posting and sharing my art on Google Plus. G+ seems especially suited for visual displays with many artist participants.
Dawn Twilight – The Sun, The Moon, The Stars
One of the artworks I plan to post tomorrow is Dawn Twilight – The Sun, The Moon, The Stars. This triptych painting is based on my memories of traveling in the High Sierra Mountains, of looking up to see the sky full of stars. It’s currently on display at the Insider Art exhibit at Union Street Gallery.
